Giving Tree, Day 324. Slices of apples in a bag. [1/3]
( Beginning of video to 2:40 )
(Ven closes his eyes and drifts off to sleep. After a short nap he wakes up, sits up to look around. He yawns while stretching and lays back again. When he looks up he sees Aqua, staring down at him.)
Ven: Whoa!
(He quickly sits back up.)
Aqua: [ Laughs ]
Ven: Gimme a break, Aqua.
Aqua: Ven, you hopeless sleepyhead. You know you should have at least brought a blanket.
Ven: But-- Did I dream that place up? It really felt like I'd been there before... looking up at the stars...
(Aqua pats Ven on the head.)
Aqua: [ Laughs while patting Ven's head ] 'Cept you've always lived here with us.
Ven: Yeah... I know.
(They walk over to the edge of the summit and sit down.)
Ven: Hey, Aqua.
Aqua: Hm?
Ven: Y'ever wonder what what stars are? Where light comes from?
Aqua: Hmm... Well, they say--
Voice: That every star up there is another world.
(Ven and Aqua look confused before they realize who it is.)
Aqua: Terra.
Terra: Yep, hard to believe there are so many worlds out there besides our own. The light is their hearts, and it's shining down on us like a million lanterns.
Ven: What? I don't get it.
Terra: In other words, they're just like you, Ven.
(Ven stands up and walks toward Terra.)
Ven: What does THAT mean?
Terra: You'll find out someday, I'm sure.
Ven: I wanna know now.
Terra: You're too young to know now.
Ven: Quit treating me like a kid.
Aqua: [ Laughs ]
Terra: Hey, what are you laughing at?
Aqua: I can't help it. [ Laughs ] You two would make the weirdest brothers. [ Laughs again. ]
(Terra and Ven give her similar confused faces.)
All three: [ Laughs ]
