This is basically a big boss battle between Aqua and the ~mysterious masked creep~. Aqua faints at the end, because it takes so much energy to battle him.
Effects:
-10000 trust of the masked kid >:C
-100 trust in anyone who is dark and spooky really
+1000 confidence in her ability to protect her friends
+1000 desire to protect those who could be hurt by bad people
• She doesn't know this is Vanitas yet, because it never comes up specifically -- but she will know this isn't the first time she's seen him, and that he's been menacing her before. Gross.
• Also this just sets up this feeling of something is going terribly wrong -- in a way that her other memories haven't before now. While yes, things have gone wrong, they usually get corrected and everything is fine! We see that in Olympus Coliseum and also with Cinderella's castle. Now she understands that there is something more sinister afoot, and that this is why she's worried about Terra: there are dark forces beyond anyone's control running about, trying to ruin everything and kill her and her friends.

( Beginning to 2:30 )
[ Aqua enters the castle foyer and looks around in awe. It's beautiful, and huge: a large, ornate room with a beautiful central staircase. ]
Grand Duke: Mademoiselle! Senorita!
[ She sees a girl in a ball gown run by... ]
Grand Duke: Wait!
[ And then a man chasing after her. ]
Terra: Aqua!
[ Aqua looks and sees Terra at the top of the staircase. ]
Aqua: Terra!
[ Terra makes his way down the stairs. ]
Aqua: Terra... Ven ran away from home.
Terra: What?
Aqua: I think he left to go find you. Do you have any idea why?
Terra: No... Actually... Just before I left, he tried to tell me something. I should have listened to what he had to say.
Aqua: Oh... So...did you manage to locate Master Xehanort?
Terra: No, but it seems he's looking for pure hearts filled with light.
Aqua: Pure hearts...filled with light...
[ Terra starts to walk away. ]
Terra: All I can tell you is that his search hasn't taken him here.
Aqua: All right. I'll stay and see if I can find more clues.
Terra: Okay. The Prince is in the ballroom ahead. He might have some answers.
Aqua: Thanks.
[ Aqua turns to head for the ballroom, but she's stopped by Terra's question. ]
Terra: Aqua. You still have the same dream?
Aqua: Well... Yes.
Terra: There's this girl here--her name is Cinderella. She made me realize how powerful it is just to believe. No matter how impossible things seem...a powerful enough dream will always be enough to light the darkness.
Aqua: Mm.
[ She nods her head in agreement. ]
Terra: If you see her, give her my thanks.
Aqua: Will do.
[ Terra turns to leave. ]
Aqua: He'll be all right. He won't give in to it.
Effects:
+50 bolstering her confidence in Terra's ability to believe in the light and their dream of happiness '-'!
• Brief knowledge that this is Cinderella and the Grand Duke, as she's met both of them in a previous memory.
• But this memory mostly just reassures her that at this point in time it definitely wasn't Terra that caused the Darkness thing that happened to the Stepsisters and Stepmother. Phew!
